By continuing to use services provided by Gibbons Academic you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Reviewing and feedback services offered by Gibbons Academic are offered on draft work on the understanding that this is the client’s own work and not owned by any third party. Gibbons Academic will not engage in any form of academic misconduct such as plagiarism, falsification of data, unethical research or collusion. If clients are found to have engaged in any form of academic misconduct, services provided by Gibbons Academic will be terminated with immediate effect.
Gibbons Academic offer reviewing and feedback services on client’s draft work in the form of comments and suggestions for improvement only. Gibbons Academic will not make any changes to any draft work reviewed. It is the client's sole responsibility to make any of the suggested improvements on their draft work provided by Gibbons Academic. Gibbons Academic will not be held responsible for any of the changes to draft work made by the client because of receiving advice from us.
A deadline date must be agreed between the client and Gibbons Academic for delivering feedback on reviewing draft work. Feedback will be provided via email in the form of comments on an MS Word document or similar. Gibbons Academic will aim to meet the agreed deadline date but if this is not possible for any reason then this will be communicated with the client and a new deadline date will be agreed. Clients are asked to ensure they provide ample time to implement any feedback provided by Gibbons Academic and are encouraged not to request feedback too close to assessment or other deadlines. It is the client’s sole responsibility to meet assessment or other deadlines and Gibbons Academic will not be held responsible for the client missing any of said deadlines.
Please note Gibbons Academic cannot be held responsible for client grades or performance which do not meet the client’s expectation.
Book a block of sessions or services and pay for them all upfront.
Pay as you go in advance of each session or before each service is provided.
An invoice will be sent to the client prior to any services being provided. Invoices must be paid in full before any services are provided by Gibbons Academic. Failure to pay in advance of sessions or other services will mean services will not continue until the invoice has been paid in full.
Payment Types:
Payment details will be provided on all invoices and these will be sent to clients directly via email.
If you need to cancel a session or service, then please contact us by email here.
If you cancel without 24 hours’ notice you will be charged the full amount for the session or service.
If you fail to arrive for an online or in person session without prior notification, then the full amount will be payable. Invoices must be paid in full within 7 Days of the missed session or before the next scheduled session, whichever comes first. Failure to pay the invoice in full will mean services will not continue until the invoice has been paid in full.
Please be aware that we are unable to deliver sessions or services for longer than the time agreed as this has a knock-on effect to our other clients and schedule. If a client should arrive later than their allocated time, the session will still run from the agreed times and the usual charge will apply.
This agreement may be terminated at any time by any party. If we must end the relationship for some reason, we will do our very best to give sufficient notice and provide referrals if requested.
If you have block paid and terminate the agreement, Gibbons Academic will refund any unused sessions providing 24 hours’ notice is given before the next scheduled session. If you terminate the agreement with a session in less than 24 hours, we are unable to give a full refund for that session.
If you have block paid and Gibbons Academic terminate the agreement, then we will issue a refund for any unused sessions or services.
